The First Scientific Day for Information Technology - IUG

PNINA participated in The First Scientific Day for Information Technology (SDIT-1) that was arranged by the Information Technology Faculty at the Islamic University in Gaza under the title of Information Technology in Palestine Hopes and Aspirations

PNINA participated in the first session of the scientific day by a lecture under the title of " The Palestinian Internet Domain .PS' which was presented by PNINA Executive Manager, E. Marwan Radwan.

 The lecture included description of the features of the PS domain and the various aspects that encourage Palestinians to register under that domain. It also explained the structure of PNINA, its goals and its action plan for the year 2005. The lecture pointed to the planned community outreach programs and initiatives that PNINA will conduct in order to enhance the Internet usage in Palestine. The lecture focused on the establishment of the National Internet Center of Excellence (NICE) and its planned activities.

 PNINA also participated as exhibitor in the IT exhibition that was held on the side of  the scientific day; PNINA presented and distributed a group of PS domain promotional material and discussed the issue with many students who visited the booth. A follow up activities is planned for interested students through email distribution lists.

 The exhibition visitors have showed their interest and their admiration of PNINA works and took the initiative in recording their names and their electronic mails within, the e-mail list of that event for future contact
